The Ironfang Pirate Fleet - The Swordfyshes, part 5

The Swordfyshes are Ironjawz sky-ship pirates. They swagger about port as if they own the place, and so far no-one has told them otherwise. They are loud and boastful, and they all love to tell one-another tall stories of their past victories and adventures. They relish adventure and excitement and will gladly board the Swordfysh and set off through a Realmgate into skies-unknown, just to see what happens when they get there. The Swordfyshes exemplify the ideal held true by all Orruks that “Might is Right”. They claim the biggest cut of the loot, the best weapons and armour, and they naturally assume they have the best tattoos in the fleet.

As a whole they prefer to charge forward and get stuck in as quickly as possible, and they sail the Swordfysh with the same attitude. To the extent that they have reinforced the ship's prow with a massive metal ram which they like to use to plough the Swordfysh into the side of a victims' ship, then leap over the gunwales to board and fight on the enemy's deck. They have also looted some Kharadron endrins which they only use to get a burst of extra speed during ramming manoeuvres.
They are led in their adventures in the Prowling Forest by Kaptain Battendown - Ardboy Boss, Lord Krashhart - Warchanter explorer, and Old Mudgob - Weirdnob Shaman.

I've have finished the 4 pirate Ironjawz Orruk Brutes I built last week. I have really enjoyed painting these big ladz and I look forward to fielding them in Warcry games in the Prowling Forest campaign over the coming weeks. I might go back to my first unit of Brutes and update their colour scheme a little to be closer to these new ones.

Bulkhead Krug
Jagged Gore-Hacka, broad-brimmed hat, beard.
The oldest of the group, a seasoned sea-dog with a foul mouth and a fouler temper.

Yardarm Gark
Pair of Brute Choppas (axe and sword), blue bandana.
His scared face is the result of a blackpowder explosion below decks many years ago.

Leeway Ruk
Jagged Gore-Hacka, red bandana.
Impetuous and aggressive, Ruk likes to be first over the gunwales into a fight.

Lugger Dag
Pair of Brute Choppas (2 swords), red bandana.
Fights with a flashy swashbuckling style, that the rest of the crew think is "a bit much".
