The Ironfang Pirate Fleet: The Rotmoons - Bonesplitterz to Ironjawz, part 3

I've had a box of Weirdbrute Wrekkaz / Brute Ragerz for a few months now and I had struggled with which unit to make them as.

I prefer the masks and lore of Weirdbrute Wrekkaz, but I really don't like their only weapon option (the Chain-smashas).

The Waaagh! energy swirling around the Weirdbrutes causes them to see the world as a sea of green fire. Groups of enemies burn in their vision with particular intensity, so the Weirdbrutes just need to head towards the light and start swinging. The Weirdbrute Masks attached to their faces help to focus their madness into a deadly frenzy. Between the Waaagh! energy coursing through them and the constant pain of the nails, they can ignore the effects of all but the most grievous wounds, meaning most enemies cannot the orruks before they barrel into their lines.

On the other hand, I love the Brute Ragerz weapon options (Mighty Gore-hackas, and Brute Crushas) but I don't like the lore for them at all. Not even a little bit.

It wasn't until after I'd made Ironjawz upgrades of Kapitan daLeeva and El Doktoro that I started to form an idea. After chatting about them on the Animosity Discord solidified the plan, I knew what to do: I'd play them using Ragerz rules and weapons, but I'd give them masks and treat them as Weirdbrutes in my narrative.

Then Viktor said: "Ruffs, skull masks, bulging muscles... a feather or two and we’ll have some very Blanchian pirate orruks..." and I really had no choice! They would have to join the Rotmoons!

So, over the last three evenings, I've built the three of them, then added greenstuff Elizabethan ruffs and finally some choice pieces from my "pirate gear" bits box.

I want to start painting them as soon as possible but it's likely I won't be able to even begin until next week, due to real-world nonsense.
